Moscow will host the Summer Institute for representatives of the Anglican Church

From 4 to 14 September 2018 in Moscow Church post-graduate and doctoral im. saints Cyril and Methodius, with the financial support of the Foundation “Russian world”, charity Fund “Barnabas” and the charitable organization of the Anglican Church “the congregation of the Lord” holds a Summer Institute for members of the Anglican Church.

The student members of the clergy and academic community of the Anglican Church, who come to Russia for the second time to increase knowledge about Orthodox Christianity and the culture of today’s Russia in General. In the course of the Institute is expected to discuss the protection of Christians in different regions of the world and the preservation of traditional morality.

A delegation of students of the Summer Institute will be headed by Bishop Absplastic Jonathan Goodall, and chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen of great Britain Reverend James Hawkey, PhD, assistant Dean and Director of studies in theology of Clare College, Cambridge University.

The program will include an introduction to the work of the Synodal departments of the Russian Orthodox Church, visiting the Holy places and sights of Moscow, Sergiev Posad, Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg.
