Moscow will host the XV international charitable film festival “Radiant angel”


From 1 to 7 November 2018 in Moscow in the cinema “October” on Novy Arbat will be held XV international charitable film festival “Radiant angel”.

“Good movie” – the motto of “Radiant angel”, whose programs are focused primarily on adolescents, youth and the family. The film festival is a charitable project – admission to all screenings and events free invitations.

In 2018, the festival was declared 402 films from 21 countries. To participate selected 178 paintings from 15 countries: Russia, Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, UAE, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Japan. In the competition program consisted of 70 films in the following categories: full-length feature films, short films, documentaries, animation. In the competition program will feature 75 films. In the framework of the retrospective screenings the audience will see 33 pictures.

The festival will host film screenings and creative meetings will be held with the people’s artist of Russia Vladimir Khotinenko and Ilze Liepa, Honored artist of Russia Sergey Miroshnichenko, Honored artists of the RSFSR Boris Tokarev and Andrey Merzlikina.

To the 100-year anniversary of VGIK prepared a special program of short films by students and graduates of the University, “100 years of cinematography” and film adaptations of Russian classics “Faces of love”.

The 30th anniversary of Animation Studio “Pilot” Alexander Tatarsky, the organizers of “Radiant angel” dedicated to a Creative meeting and a retrospective program of the best films from the animated series “Mountain of Gems”.


The festival is traditionally held master classes for children “Secrets of creating cartoons”: part I “plasticine crow”, leading Directors of the Animation Studio “Pilot” Alexey Pochivalov and Eugene Zhirkov; part II “Puppet animation”, leading the artist-Director of animated films Marina Kurchevskaya.

Selectors of the festival prepared for the audience the author’s retrospective program “Short films that have become classics” (film Director Vladimir Tumayev) and “Ivan Turgenev – unheard peacemaker. The 200th anniversary of the birth” (film critic and film critic Andrei Shemyakin).
