XIII international festival “Artos”, which will be held from 22 to 28 August 2018 in the capital Park “Sokolniki”, will present a program on the history, culture and faith of Georgia, according to patriarhiei.
The program of the festival “Artos” will cover several areas, representing the spiritual traditions of the Georgian people. The festival concerts. Guests will hear hymns and contemporary performance of folk of chants and drinking songs, known since the middle ages.
As part of a special series of screenings of “Artos” will be presented as fiction, and documentary films, shot by Georgian Directors or depicting saints venerated far beyond the borders of the country. During the week he will meet with priests to discuss the peculiarities of Orthodoxy in Georgia, saints, and shrines of the Caucasus.
In addition, the festival organizers have prepared a variety of artistic projects and cooking classes. Guests can visit the national food court and try Georgian cuisine. Visitors will find a large selection of Orthodox literature and a wide variety of gifts for family and friends: Souvenirs, icons, jewelry and more. The festival will feature a handmade item.
