Moved to a split In the UOC commented on the participation of bishops in the “unification Council”

    

Metropolitan Alexander (drabinko) and Metropolitan Simeon, participating in the “unification Council” in Kiev, no longer have nothing to do with UOC, according to “the Union of Orthodox journalists.” Comments about this BBC-Ukraine said the head of the Synodal information Department of the UOC Archbishop Clement.

According to him, these bishops “create a new Church and go there”.

The question then is, whether taken in respect of these bishops any sanctions, Archbishop Clement said that “to UPC they no longer have any relationship.”

“If they were in the UOC, then they could spread some of the action We are only stating that they went into schism, and inform local Churches in the diptych of canonical bishops of Ukraine, they no longer are” – said Lord Clement.

The head of the Synodal Department added that these people wanted to separate themselves from his Church. “We can only sadly state”, – concluded the Archbishop Clement.

As reported by the SPM, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and bar, accompanied by the Dean of the Vinnytsia district deanery Archimandrite Dorotheus (Markevich), Metropolitan of Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky and Vishnevsky Alexander (drabinko) arrived in St. Sophia Cathedral to participate in the “unification Council”.
