Nobel laureate in physics read in the Minsk lecture about the Bible

Kenneth Brockman is a specialist in the field of nuclear physics, received in 2005 the Nobel peace prize. 23 September in the framework of the exhibition “Belarus and the Bible” he gave a lecture “the Bible and science.”

The exhibition consisted of 200 unique handwritten and printed monuments of book culture, reflecting the history of the creation, dissemination and preservation of the Bible. For the first time in Belarus was shown the originals and high-quality exhibition copies of the Dead sea scrolls, biblical manuscripts on papyrus and parchment (Torah), valuable manuscripts, early printed editions (books by Johann Gutenberg, Martin Luther, Francis Skaryna), illustrated copies of the Bible (including books with engravings of Albrecht dürer, Gustave doré, Salvador Dali).
