July 28, 2018, the day 1030-anniversary of the Baptism of Rus, in the construction of the sanatorium “Peterhof” city of Kislovodsk, Archbishop Theophylact of Pyatigorsk and Cherkessk have performed the rite of consecration of the laying of the Foundation stone of the temple of the Holy equal to the apostles Prince Volodymyr, the website of “Blessed Caucasus”. His Eminence was assisted by the Dean of the parishes of Kislovodsk Church district Archpriest John Znamenskiy and clergy of the churches of the city.
In the laying of the temple took part: Director of nursing Alexander Turivnenko, deputies of the city Duma, representatives of the city Council of veterans, the Trustees and the builders erected the temple, but also residents and visitors of Kislovodsk.
In the Foundation of the temple was laid a capsule with a letter. The temple will be erected in a tree on one of the highest places of the city – the Piket mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level.
At the end of the prayer service the Archpastor thanked the sponsors and builders of the Church and congratulated all on the day of the baptism of Russia and day of memory of the great master of the Russian land – equal to the apostles Prince Vladimir. Then, turning to the congregation, Archbishop Theophylact called for prayer to honor the memory of tragically deceased first organizer of the sanatorium “Peterhof” Vladimir G., Turivnenko.
Currently in Kislovodsk in the two resorts – the “Beam” and “Villa Arnest”, built wooden temples, but in the sanatorium “Red Rocks” there is a chapel, consecrated in honor of the mother of God “quick to hearken”. And now in the near future, another unique temple, built of wood, will open its doors for prayer.
