Deeply saddened by the tragic news of the collapse of a road bridge near Genoa, killing and injuring many people. Thank You and the entire Italian people my sincere condolences.
The merciful Lord will comfort the relatives of the victims, and grant speedy healing to the injured and strengthen the power of the rescue workers, is now making every effort to extract remaining under the rubble and the aftermath of the disaster.
