Meeting with Primate of the Jerusalem Church appointed in the framework of the visit of head of state in Israel.
President Petro Poroshenko will meet with Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III. This is stated in the announcement on the website of the presidential Administration.
The meeting will be held in the framework of the visit of Petro Poroshenko in Israel, scheduled for January 20-21.
The AP reported that the President will hold talks with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaker of the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) Yuli-Yoel Edelstein.”During the visit, the planned signing of a free trade agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the state of Israel,” – said in the announcement.
Earlier media reported that the Jerusalem Church is serious pressure to take Raskolnikov from PCU and concelebrated with them.
We will remind, the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III earlier said that the Jerusalem Church is constantly offering prayers for Ukraine and Beatitude the tenure of Metropolitan Onufriy, whom he considers “the right man for the difficult situation in which today is the Ukrainian people.”
