The President of Ukraine in his speech in connection with the termination of martial law compared Tomos with the election of the President.
Petro Poroshenko said that the elections as inevitable as getting Thomas new Church structure. He said this on Wednesday, 26th December, according to “Country”.
“Presidential elections in Ukraine on 31 March. As well as the fact that Christmas, our Orthodox Church is on 7 January. And just like that the day before, in the Holy night, Ukraine will receive the Tomos,” he said.
