Provocateurs pasted leaflets Vladimir Church in Lviv

    

Unknown persons pasted leaflets with the image of Stalin and the words “Stalinist Patriarchy” wall Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the neighborhood Sykhiv Lviv. The incident occurred on the night of October 21, 2018, informs a portal “Orthodox life” with reference to Upc.lviv.ua.

“In February of this year, the Church was damaged in an arson attack, and is now restored by the parishioners. The perpetrators of the crime have not found, and the house of God again came under reproach,” – noted in the Lviv diocese of the UOC.

The actions of provocateurs in the diocese associated with started on the initiative of politicians in the process of granting autocephaly of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine. But I remind you that the Patriarchate of Constantinople urged the sides to avoid seizure of churches, violence and revenge, “to prevail peace and love of Christ.”

“Unfortunately, the actions of unknown persons who desecrated St. Vladimir’s Church we do not see any of Christ’s love for others, no desire for peace”, – stated in the Lviv diocese of the UOC.
