Lyudmila Filipovich announced plans for the “clergy” of the Kiev Patriarchate to terminate its participation in the “unification Council” and spoke about the scenarios.
Representatives of the UOC-KP are set to emerge from the process of creating a Unified Local Church in Ukraine, said the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of religious studies Lyudmila Filipovich in the air “ZIK”.
According to experts, the Patriarchate of Constantinople has created for the Kyiv Patriarchate the conditions under which the members of the UOC-KP will not be able to get what you want.
“Then you know what is the alternative? Or continue to be a Patriarchy. But not canonical. Or humbly, like a Christian, still, to adopt the proposed model and become a metropolis. But legal”, – shared his opinion the expert.
We will remind, holding “unifying Council” appointed on 15 December 2018. The members of the Holy Synod of the UOC blessed clergy and laity to participate in this “wrong meeting.”
