On behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of culture was obliged to study the statutes.
10 January 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of culture of Ukraine before the end of the month to conduct the examination of all registered statutes of the UOC, told the news Agency “RBC-Ukraine”.
According to the journalists, “RBC”, the purpose of this examination is to establish the circumstances concerning the location of the “nerve center” of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Russian Federation.
If such circumstances will establish, through “governmental courier” and in writing to staff of the Ministry of culture will inform the Church about the need for 3 months to change their statutes in accordance with the requirements of act No. 5309.
It is noteworthy that in the text of the governmental document of the UOC is not directly called, but the “RBC-Ukraine” writes that the examination will relate to the “Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of the Moscow Patriarchate” (the spelling of authors is saved, – SPM).
Recall that in act No. 5209, which the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted 20 December 2018, we are talking about the renaming of religious organizations and/or associations, which are part of the religious organization’s control center, which is located outside of Ukraine on the territory of the aggressor state.
