None of the Orthodox churches, except Constantinople, will not send representatives to the enthronement of the “Primate” of the DNC, scheduled for 3 February.
The enthronement of the head of the DNC “Metropolitan of Kiev and all Ukraine” by Epiphany (Dumenko) will not be representatives of the local Orthodox Churches, said on Thursday Deputy head of the Synodal Department for external Church relations Archpriest Nikolai Balashov. According to Archpriest, at the upcoming meetings of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill with the leadership of the local Orthodox Churches that have been scheduled in celebration of the decade, the election of Patriarch Kirill to the throne of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, the situation of the Orthodox in Ukraine will be a Central topic of discussion.
