When education starts, and when it ends? Where should be the starting point of the educational process? And how many years should last academic race: from kindergarten or the first grade of high school, and ends with a diploma or with a Ph. D.?
Once I realized that the education should begin from the cradle, and maybe even earlier. It all depends on the parents of the baby. However, never too late to learn! This helped me make sure my comrade and friend, who was older than me at 53 years old. He once told me (when he was 82 years) that undertook the study of Economics. His voice was cheerful and happy, he rejoiced in his discoveries. At that moment I realized that education ends only with the death of a student.
But most of all, the Bible advises us to seek wisdom. It is the best medicine for the curious mind and seeking soul. Diplomas and certificates, high-profile titles and vivid, glory, fame, honor — all the ashes and vanity, futility and emptiness. Wisdom lies in the unquenchable desire to get closer to God, striving to understand the world created by him, the happiness to be complicit in His works.
“The main thing — wisdom: get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her; you will place on your head a beautiful wreath will deliver to you a crown of splendor” (Proverbs 4:7, 8).
