Service “Mercy” began collecting gifts for the needy in the framework of the campaign “Give joy for Christmas”

    

Orthodox service of assistance “Mercy” announces the beginning of the collection of Christmas gifts for seriously ill children, elderly, homeless and poor people, large families and hospital patients.

The campaign “Give joy for Christmas” is held since 2011.

During the month on a special website, anyone can choose a gift for the needy. The action takes place in Moscow and 10 other regions, including Smolensk, Astrakhan, Kemerovo, Izhevsk region, etc., reports a press-service “Mercy”.

“Our wards are very different people. This, for example, the nurse Larisa that Alzheimer’s made completely immobilized, and clever and strong-willed 10-year-old Bob, who cannot walk or talk due to cerebral palsy. But all our students have one thing in common – they need our help. For Christmas we want to please each of them, and collect the gifts. We need care products, crockery and other household items, toys and sweets – you can choose a gift for every taste and wallet,” said Anna belavina, head of the charity programs of the service of assistance “Mercy”.

To support the campaign “Give joy for Christmas” by SMS: send an SMS with the word “Christmas” and a donation amount to the number 3434, for example, “Christmas 200”. These funds will be used to purchase gifts.

To take part in the action until 6 January. In Moscow, a collection point for gifts located in the shopping gallery “Monarch” at the address: Leningrad Prospekt, 31A, building 1, 1st floor.
