Athos monastery of Vatopedi
The Athonite monks moved to the Holy monastery panteleimonos after Vatopedi received the “Bishop” Paul Juristova and the delegation of PCU.
Thus, seven monks of the monastery of Vatopedi protested against contact with the new Church structure, reports “Interfax”.

“In total it’s been four Athos monastery Xenophon, Pantokrator, New Esphigmenou and Vatopedi entered into communion with the Ukrainian samosvyaty”, – concluded the source.
In turn, the rector of the Moscow theological Academy Archbishop Vereysky Ambrose (Ermakov) reported: according to him, the Patriarch of Constantinople ordered that the DNC delegation visited all the monastery of the Holy mountain.
“In our eyes, one after the other Athonite monasteries are connected with the dissenters and commit an unthinkable betrayal of the Orthodox people in Ukraine, which are being driven, blackmailed, beaten, expelled from their native temples <…> How subtly the enemy of the human race mocks people!” – said the Bishop.
As reported by the SPM, the delegation of the ptsu is not allowed to the Holy Panteleimonov monastery on mount Athos. The Abbot of the monastery of St. Panteleimon Archimandrite Eulogius explained to the representatives of the new Ukrainian Church that in the monastery they do not recognize.
