“This Church is for us from a formal point of view, is divisive, and the contacts can not speak”, — said father Sergius.
The priest noted that contacts are possible only in a civil term, and expressed hope that they would be neighborly. He also raised the issue of pressure on representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
“The fact that one will not pursue, is welcome, but the main thing that it was not just an empty promise, — said Archpriest Sergius. — I hope that the Ukrainian authorities under persecution understand not only physical and economic violence, but also information and political aggression, which supporters of the Moscow Patriarchate must also be protected.”
