The modern world is hostile to the Christian, but the Church can find a way, said the Metropolitan of Zaporizhia and Melitopol Luka.
He stated this during the presentation of the film dedicated to the anniversary of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC.
“Modern understanding of life is not simply contrary to the laws of the Church, it is hostile, – quotes the words of the Lord the website of the diocese of Zaporizhzhya. According to the Metropolitan, the Church today is the lighthouse, the guiding star, followed by every believer. The mission of the Church is not limited to only using people of faith.

Metropolitan Luke is called to imitate Christ, who even on the cross he did not cease to pray and crucified Him.
“And we must pray for oppressing the enemies who are slandering us, but not afraid to declare the truth. Not to destroy but to build for the glory of God,” concluded the Bishop.
Earlier, the Metropolitan of Zaporizhia and Melitopol Luka appealed to the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko in connection with the brutal murder of Melitopol in the temple.
