The Hierarch of Constantinople denied the fake of “poisoning” of Patriarch Bartholomew

Archbishop Daniel (Zelinsky) officially informed the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul that reprinted in Ukrainian. Media information about the “poisoning” of Patriarch Bartholomew – fake.

The Bishop reported on his Facebook page that alarmed numerous fakes Ukrainian media, which were distributed in Ukraine in the last days “had filed false information about the alleged worker of the Patriarchate tried to give poisoned water to the Patriarch during a meeting of the Ecumenical Patriarch with Patriarch of Moscow”.

Archbishop Daniel said that he made this statement to the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Alexander Hamano and Consul Maxim Vdovichenko.

“The water was delicious” – ironically said the Hierarch showed photos with the most “poisoner” whose name is Alexander.

Recall, numerous Ukrainian media, among whom were TSN, Browser, and other published information, in which he accused the representatives of the Russian delegation (during the meeting, Patriarch Kirill and Bartholomew) trying to poison Patriarch Bartholomew and other bishops of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. At the same time the “Russian poisoner” prosecutors pointed to the man who actually was an employee of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and that at all events the Patriarchy offers the water.
