The President Of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic
Milo Djukanovic is going to fight for the independence of the unrecognized “Montenegrin Orthodox Church”.
The Montenegrin authorities intend to achieve restoration of the Autocephalous Churches in their country. The President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic said in an interview with TV program Live however, reports RTCG.
“Serbian Orthodox Church very aggressively undermine Montenegrin independence. I believe that it is necessary to continue work on the restoration of the Autocephalous Montenegrin Orthodox Church, and the state will do and bear for it responsibility”, – said Djukanovic.
The Montenegrin Orthodox Church was formed in 1993. This divisive structure has not received recognition of their status.
