25 December 2018 at the Cathedral of the Antiochian Orthodox Church in Damascus was celebrated the Christmas divine Liturgy celebrated by his Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East John X, according to patriarhiei.
The Primate of the Antiochian Orthodox Church was assisted by his suffragan bishops, and a representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia at the Patriarchal throne of Antioch, Igumen Arseny (Sokolov) and the clergy of the Cathedral.
After the Liturgy, a solemn festive procession led by the Patriarch and accompanied by the scout brass band.
