The Primate of the Czech Church: the Schism has no place in the life of the Church

The Synod of the Czech Church has instructed its Primate to ask representatives of the local Churches hold the all-Orthodox meeting on the situation of the UOC.

The members of the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of the Czech lands and Slovakia has obliged his Beatitude Metropolitan of the Czech lands and Slovakia, Rastislav (shingles) to initiate a pan-Orthodox meeting on the question of religious conflict in Ukraine, said the official ROC website.

“Until all the events that took place in the Church life in Ukraine, not to discuss, until a conciliar decision, our position remains unchanged,” – said Metropolitan Rostislav.

He expressed support of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church his Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Onuphrius.

“Our attitude to the schism definitive: it has no place in Church life. Every division can be Obrucheva only repentance and a return to the canonical Church”, – said the Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech lands and Slovakia.
