The Primate of the Russian Church headed the Ekaterinburg Metropolitanate of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of the Royal family

    

From 13 to 17 July 2018 will be his primatial visit of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill in the Ekaterinburg Archdiocese, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Royal family, reports patriarhiei.

July 13, upon arrival in Ekaterinburg, the Russian Orthodox Church will visit the Church on Blood in honour of All saints resplendent in the Russian land.

On 14 July under the chairmanship of his Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Yekaterinburg will host a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.

July 15, a Week 7th after Pentecost, his Holiness Patriarch Kirill will perform the rite of the great consecration of the temple Theodore icon of the Mother of God in monastery of new Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church in Alapaevsk and will head the divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated Church.

Also on this day, his Holiness Patriarch Kirill will make a lity from Alapayevsk mine, will be visited in Alapayevsk the monastery of Saint Martyr Grand Duchess Elizaveta Feodorovna, where he will perform the rite of consecration of the small Elizabeth temple, and the Holy Trinity parish Church.

In the night from 16 to 17 July, Patriarch Kirill will celebrate the divine Liturgy in the square before the Church on Blood in Yekaterinburg, and then will lead a procession from the Temple on the Blood to the monastery of the Holy Royal martyrs at Ganina Yama. On arrival there will be moleben to the Holy Royal passion-bearers.
