The procession with the Peschanskaya icon of the Mother of God
Hundreds of faithful of the Izyum diocese prayed for peace and prosperity in Ukraine.
Raisins 28 June 2017, with the blessing of Metropolitan of Izyum and Kupyansk have Eliseerotic, held a procession with the miraculous Peschanskaya icon of the Mother of God for peace and prosperity in Ukraine, the press service of the diocese.
The procession has been held for the fourth year. This time hundreds of pilgrims from other cities of Slobozhanshchina arrived to pray together with the believers of the Izyum diocese of peace in the country.
The procession began at the ascension Cathedral of the Theotokos festal moleben, after which the faithful proceeded to the Church of the Transfiguration was committed akafistnaya singing before the miraculous image of the virgin.
On arrival at the Church of the Transfiguration, Archimandrite Simeon organized for the participants of the procession lunch and rest.
The second part of the procession will be held on 8 July. The prayer procession will proceed with the Transfiguration Church to the Holy cross.
