THE REFUGEES-MUSLIMS IN EUROPE TURNING TO CHRIST

In Germany, hundreds of refugees-Muslims are turning to Christ. Evangelical Trinity Church has grown from 150 to 600 parishioners in just two years, and many of them Muslims, who fled from Iran and Afghanistan.

Many refugees in Germany seeking asylum, and the conversion to Christianity increases their chances to stay there. If the converts to send home, they can be persecuted and even executed for abandoning Islam. In the words of pastor Gottfried Martens, he believes that the power of Christ change their lives.

“I know that some people come here hoping to obtain refugee status. I invite us to these people, because I believe that here may change and such people, despite their initial motive,” says pastor Gottfried Martens, adding that 90% of the baptized back to the Church.
