SBU intends to establish indicative estimates of the value of the missing Laura of Museum objects

SBU intends to establish indicative estimates of the value of Museum objects, which are unable to detect during the audit of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

 

The security service of Ukraine reported that currently criminal proceedings on the fact of loss were not opened. About this, as the mayor said in response to the information request of UNN.

“Currently under examination indicative of the estimated cost of missing in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the UOC subjects, the results of which the security Service of Ukraine will be decided in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine”, – said in the secret service.

As reported by the SPM, the Ministry of culture of Ukraine announced the list of Museum items that were not discovered during audits in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The list includes 10 items: 8 icons of the late XIX century, a wooden cross and chalice.

In turn, the vicar of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan Vyshgorod and Chernobyl Paul said that the lost items were conveyed to the monastery of the scientifically-auxiliary Fund and does not represent a significant historical value.

Audit of Museum objects that are in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, was held in November 2018.
