Metropolitan of Eastern America and new York Hilarion
In new York under the chairmanship of Metropolitan of Eastern America and new York Hilarion held a meeting of the Synod of bishops of ROCOR.
The Synod, consisting of seven bishops, decided to resume the work of the Commission for the strengthening of Church unity, according to patriarhiei.
The work of the Commission attracted Sacramentado Bishop Irenaeus and Archpriest Seraphim Gan.
The participants got acquainted with the preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the great consecration of the new Cathedral in London.
