Presenters Anton and Victoria Makarska will tell the audience about his journey in St. Petersburg. The next edition of “Sanctuary Russia”, devoted to the religious-historical heritage and Orthodox Holy places “of the Northern capital” will be aired on Sunday 11 November 2018 at 20:30 on TV channel “SPAS”.
Shooting shows was held from 22 to 28 August 2018 with the support of the Federal Agency for tourism; Committee for tourism development of Saint-Petersburg, sector of the communications of the St. Petersburg Metropolia, the participants of the gastronomic project “Petersburg kitchen”.
The plot of the program is built in the format of a pilgrimage tour. The film and theater actor Anton Makarsky and his wife Victoria and his wife visited the Holy Trinity Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Kazan Cathedral, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, St. Nicholas naval Cathedral, St. John Stavropigialny female monastery, St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral in the city-fortress of Kronstadt, the Chapel of St. Xenia the Blessed Trinity Cathedral, the Church of the mother of God “Joy of All who sorrow” (with groshiki). The TV show “Shrines of Russia” is popular with the audience and breaks records on the TV channel “Spas”. The project involves 14 subjects of the Russian Federation.

In October 2018, on TV channel “Spas” was the premiere broadcast of the first series. Today aired already 4 issues of the project on the Pskov, Tver, Leningrad and Moscow regions. They looked at the order of 2 million people.
