Naghmeh Abedini, wife of prisoner pastor Saeed Abedini, calls for fasting and prayer on the help of her husband and the persecuted Church. Pastor Saeed is serving an eight-year term in Iran for his Christian faith.
Naghmeh wrote in “Facebook” that will be fasting, abstaining from tasty food, such as fasting of Daniel. And in the Scripture that God gave her for this post is Hebrews 12:1-2 (“therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and besetting sin, and us with patience will pass the race set before us field, looking unto the author and finisher of our faith, Who instead of the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God”).
Naghmeh added: “the Lord showed me that when we pray for said and the persecuted Church, and remember the “witnesses”, then in our lives and in our country can begin the awakening.”
