6 December 2018 in the Reader’s club “Orthodox book” on Pogodinskaya will be a presentation album “My small Motherland”, dedicated to his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II, a native of Estonia, reports the Website of the publishing Council.
The presentation will be attended by the vicar of the Tallinn diocese Bishop Martucci Sergius and member of the Synod of the Estonian Orthodox Church, head of the Publishing Department of the Estonian Orthodox Church männik Sergey Georgievich.
The publication presents photographs related to the period of stay of the Russian Orthodox Church in Estonia as a priest and diocesan Bishop, and the Patriarch’s visits. Many of the photographs are unknown to the General readership and published for the first time. The album features photographs from the archives of the press service of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, the Estonian Orthodox Church, pühtitsa Dormition convent, from personal archives Arkady Baranova, Marina Yurchenko, Sergei Männik, Sergei Kolesnikov, Archpriest Oleg Brony, hieromonk Jonah (Golovastikov), families Camisole.
The presentation will take place in the Reader’s club “Orthodox book” at the address: Pogodinskaya str., 18, shop “Orthodox book”, “Sportivnaya”).
The presentation starts at 18.00. Guests arrive from 17.30.
