From 13 to 15 September 2018 in the Tula region with the support and participation of the Tula region Governor A. G. Dyumin will be held a solemn event dedicated to bringing the gift of Tula eparchy, the icon of St. blessed Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy, reports the Synodal Department for Church relations with society and the media.
The program of event includes a procession in memory of the fallen soldiers, which begins after the worship in the temple of the Holy blessed Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy and his wife Eudoxia in the territory of the Tula Kremlin, will pass to the place of the Kulikovo battle and will end with a solemn procession with the icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh on the Red hill of the Kulikovo field, on the March to the commemorative stele of the great Prince Dmitry Donskoy and the dead the soldiers killed on the battlefield.
