The presentation of the audiobook “Lengthy Orthodox catechism of the Orthodox Catholic Eastern Church,” St. Filaret (Drozdov)

TV presenter Nikolai Drozdov recorded the audio version of “the Orthodox Catechism” written by his great-great-great-grandfather of the Holy Hierarch Philaret of Moscow (Drozdov), reports the Synodal Department for Church relations with society and the media. Creating audiobooks is a joint project of the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate and the radio “Faith” (100,9 FM in Moscow).

The project presentation took place on 6 September in the framework of Moscow international book exhibition-fair. In addition to Nikolai Drozdov, in the meeting took part the chief editor of the Publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate Bishop Balashikha Nikolay and the chief editor of radio “Faith” Ilya Kuzmenkov.

Fragments of audio summaries of the “Catechism” will sound on radio “Faith” in the “heavenly Springs”, which airs on weekdays at 23:00 and includes excerpts of audio books on spiritual issues and archival recordings of live performances of Orthodox pastors and Christian thinkers.

The premiere edition of the “Catechism” performed by Nikolay Drozdov will take place in the “heavenly Springs” on the day of the Church new year is 14 September.
