Ukraine took 11th place in the ranking of religiosity in Europe

According to the research center the Pew Research Center, Ukraine took the 11th place among 34 European countries in terms of religiosity.

It turned out that religion is very important to 22% of Ukrainians, 35% of respondents once a month are at religious services, 29 per cent pray daily. Absolutely sure that God exists — 32% of Ukrainians.

Also, the list includes Belarus (13th place), Russia (20).

In the ranking of the most religious European countries were Romania, Armenia, Georgia. The lowest level of religiosity: the Czech Republic, Denmark and Estonia.

The study was conducted in 2015 and 2017. Then to explore the views had attracted about 56 thousand people over the age of 18, the survey was conducted by interviewing by phone or in person.
