UNESCO DENIES THE HISTORICAL CONNECTION OF THE JEWS WITH THE HOLY PLACES OF JERUSALEM

The UN Commission on education, science and culture (UNESCO) approved a resolution which denied the historical connection of the Jewish people with the Holy places in Jerusalem.

The resolution entitled “the Occupied Palestine” sets out the rules for the preservation of historical sites such as the Temple mount and Western Wall. It actually lost the biblical connection with them, are mentioned only because of their Islamic names. The resolution was the last of a series of measures by UNESCO, in which Israelis see evidence of anti-Israel bias. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it “a theater of the absurd in UNESCO”.

“It is clear they have not read the TANAKH, but I invite members of UNESCO to visit the arch of Titus in Rome, where it is clear that the Romans transported to Rome after they destroyed and looted the temple standing on the Temple mount two thousand years ago, says Benjamin Netanyahu. — On the arch of Titus is engraved the seven-branched candlestick, the menorah, a recognizable symbol of the Jewish people that today is a symbol of the Jewish state. UNESCO immediately say that the Emperor Titus was engaged in Zionist propaganda”.

According to Netanyahu, to make this decision — all the same what to say that China has nothing to do with the great wall of China or Egypt has nothing to do with the pyramids.

USA, UK and Germany is among the six countries that voted against the resolution.
