Vladimir Legoyda called the opening of the children’s hospice event in 2018

The Chairman of the Synodal Department for Church and society and the media V. Legoida called the opening of the children’s hospice in the Domodedovo district of the Moscow region an important event in 2018, undeservedly unnoticed in the information field.

According to V. R. Legoyda, the journalists often talk about events of the year and on all the indices, how these events define and assess, but “sometimes the filters are not enough fine mental tuning”.

Legoyda believes that the opening of the hospice, which will be 10 rooms for family stay, will be one of the most important events of the year.

“Children will live, and not live surrounded by loved ones, surrounded by love and care,” noted V. Legoida.

In conclusion, Legoyda recalled that the hospice, as the first children’s hospice in St. Petersburg, opened the priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Alexander Tkachenko.
